Kenny Blake

Kenny Blake was a rising Australian star in the 70's. He rode a multitude of different bikes including TA, TD, TR and TZ Yamahas throughout his career and won numerous Australian titles over the years before his death. Kenny actually beat Giacomo Agostini in the Australian TT at Laverton Airbase in 1976. After competing in the World Championships for a while, was tragically killed at the Isle of Man in the Senior TT in 1981. Last June saw the 30th Anniversary of Kenny’s passing. This was remembered at both the Isle of Man race on June 9th 2011 and in Melbourne. The gathering in Melbourne was an excellent day and evening with many of Kenny’s friends and fellow riders gathering to commemorate his passing.  this link is to Kennys tribute site.
